The league was formed in 2002 by the joint efforts of three churches; the Winnipeg Chinese Alliance Church, Seraph Evangelical Free Church and the Winnipeg Chinese United Church. With each subsequent season, our goal is to encourage other churches of all ethnicities and denominations to become involved in this ministry. Our vision is to make this league a unifying tool for churches to work together as a single body. Each team and church is seen as a sub-ministry, working in the larger ministry of the league.
